Very futuristic in appearance, this South Africa made handgun internally has no unique features (Polymer frame is fairly common at those days). The only thing that one may notice is somewhat unusual placement of the manual safety - in the front part of the triggerguard. When hun had to be switched to "fire" position, the button is pushed forward from inside the triggerguard. Then, red-coloured part of this button will appear on the front side of the triggerguard, indicating that gun is in ready position.
WARNING: The October 2000 issue of the American Rifleman, p. 25, has a recall notice for the new South African-made Vektor CP1. The recall states that the loaded gun can discharge if bumped or dropped. DO NOT LOAD THE GUN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
